Labour Market Needs Assessment Survey

The main objective of the Survey is to provide estimates of new persons hired, job openings, unfilled job openings, and separations from jobs for Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinque for a specified reference period.  Unfilled job openings would be used as a proxy for skills gaps or labour shortages by sector and occupation.

The results of the Survey will be used to determine changes in labour demand between specific reference periods. These changes would be calculated at both the sectoral and occupational levels. Employment data will also be captured in this Survey and will be compared with the data from the Central Statistical Office (CSO) for consistency.

The data collected from this Survey will allow for the computation of demand-side indicators of labour shortages at the national level.
